- Arrive at Paro International Airport
- Meet up with our representative
- En route visit Tachog Lhakhang (Iron Chain Bridge) built by Tibetan bridge builder Thangtong Gyelpo over the Pa Chhu (Paro River).
- Check in hotel
- After lunch, visit National Memorial Chorten, a monument to world peace and a memorial to the third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
- Overnight at your hotel in Thimphu.
- Breakfast will be served at hotel
- After breakfast, drive to Buddha Dordenma for sunrise and a view of Thimphu city.
- Visit Takin Sanctuary at Motithang to see Bhutan's national animal, the Takin.
- Visit to Tashichho Dzong: fortress with secretariat, throne room, and Chief Abbot's summer residence.
- After lunch, visit the National Institute for Zorig Chusum (Arts and Crafts School).
- Explore the Folk Heritage Museum
- If time permits, visit Thimphu Weekend Farmer’s Market and the local archery ground.
- Overnight at a hotel in Thimphu.
- After early breakfast, drive to Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan.
- En route stop at dochu-la pass (3,088m/10,130ft) and admire 108 Chortens, Mani wall, and prayer flags.
- Enjoy coffee with panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges.
- Upon arrival in Punakha, visit Wolokha Nunnery
- After lunch, visit Talo Goemba before checking into the hotel.
