Tour Costing:

  • 1 Pax: $1600 per person
  • 2 Pax: $1400 per person
  • 3 Pax and More: $1300 per person

Note: The above tour cost is inclusive of the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of US$100 per day (per adult, with concessionary rates for children). A non-refundable, one-time visa application fee of US$40 is also payable.

Entrance fees for monuments and festivals visits to be paid separately.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Arrive at Paro International Airport
  • Meet up with our representative 
  • En route visit Tachog Lhakhang (Iron Chain Bridge) built by Tibetan bridge builder Thangtong Gyelpo over the Pa Chhu (Paro River).
  • Check in hotel
  • After lunch, visit National Memorial Chorten, a monument to world peace and a memorial to the third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
  • Overnight at your hotel in Thimphu.

  • Breakfast will be served at hotel
  • After breakfast, drive to Buddha Dordenma for sunrise and a view of Thimphu city.
  • Visit Takin Sanctuary at Motithang to see Bhutan's national animal, the Takin.
  • Visit to Tashichho Dzong: fortress with secretariat, throne room, and Chief Abbot's summer residence.
  • After lunch, visit the National Institute for Zorig Chusum (Arts and Crafts School).
  • Explore the Folk Heritage Museum
  • If time permits, visit Thimphu Weekend Farmer’s Market and the local archery ground.
  • Overnight at a hotel in Thimphu.

  • After early breakfast, drive to Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan.
  • En route stop at dochu-la pass (3,088m/10,130ft) and admire 108 Chortens, Mani wall, and prayer flags.
  • Enjoy coffee with panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges.
  • Upon arrival in Punakha, visit Wolokha Nunnery
  • After lunch, visit Talo Goemba before checking into the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Punakha.

  • Short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the short, picturesque hike to the temple is a delightful experience, offering insights into Bhutanese rural life. The temple’s unique blessings make it a meaningful stop for couples looking to start a family.
  • Visit Punakha Dzong, historic fortress at river junction and is arguably the most beautiful Dzong in Bhutan.
  • Afternoon, scenic drive back to Paro with a stop at Lamperi Botanical Garden.
  • Evening Free time or explore Paro town.
  • Overnight at hotel in Paro.

  • Enjoy breakfast to prepare for the hike to Taktsang Monastery.
  • Hike through the pristine surroundings to the Tiger's Nest Monastery.
  • Witness the breathtaking sight of the monastery perched 900 meters above Paro Valley.
  • Learn about the legend of Guru Rinpoche, who blessed this site in the 8th century.
  • On the return, visit Kichu Monastery, Bhutan's oldest Buddhist monastery from the 8th century.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Paro.
